I am Bonnie Jackson, Founder CEO of North Star Academy. Ever since I can remember, I have loved being in the company of children. Born, and educated in the foothills of Southeastern Kentucky, the middle child of a family of 12, I was always surrounded by a house full of children. I learned to nurture, spoil, and teach them from the expert, I call my mother. She showed me how patience, love, and allowing each of her 12 children, to be their own individual and unique person, made for a healthy and happy child. 

I believe that education is the stepping stone to having success in life, that education starts the minute a child is born, and never stops. I am dedicated to making sure that my staff has the necessary, and continued Early Childhood Education to help you equip your child, with all the tools to broaden the horizons of their minds, and promote social skills, through diversity and acceptance. Therefore, my staff is diverse in culture, race, and language, opening a new and exciting world of opportunities for your child. 

Sharing the life of your child is the greatest gift a parent can give to another person. Therefore, I want to thank those that have shared your children, with all of us at North Star Academy over the 16 years we have been in business, and look forward to our continued partnership in helping to guide your child to a healthy, happy and promising tomorrow!
